The Ministry of Health announced the arrival of the first shipment of oxygen, estimated at 100,000 liters through the land port of Musaed, arriving from Egypt, in response to the shortage of this recently sought-after commodity.

The ministry explained on its official Facebook account on Friday that this step comes as part of its efforts to solve the shortage of oxygen, which is because of the deterioration in the epidemiological situation and the increasing demand for the commodity.

It further stated that more shipments are due to arrive daily and the rate is due to rise in the coming days, based on the agreement of the Minister of Health Ali-Al-Zanati and his Egyptian counterpart regarding the urgent supply of oxygen from Egypt.
