Al-Wahda Hospital in Derna has confirmed the death of 11 Egyptians and the injury of 15 others of the same nationality, as a result of a traffic accident in the Al-Ezziyat - Al-Tamimi Road.
Some of the injured were transferred by ambulance and emergency services to Benghazi Medical Hospital.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry directed its Consulate General in Benghazi to follow up on the incident and communicate with the relevant Libyan authorities in this regard to provide all aspects of care for the injured and ensure the speedy transfer of the bodies to Egypt as soon as the necessary procedures are completed.
