Two human rights organizations have rescued about 110 illegal migrants off the Libyan coast in two separate operations.

According to the SOS relief organization, the Ocean Viking ship rescued 37 illegal migrants, including two women and 12 children, who were on a rubber boat in the Mediterranean, after they set off from the Libyan coast.

The organization pointed out that there are serious cases among migrants as a result of a fire that broke out on the boat, resulting from the explosion of fuel barrels loaded on board the boat.

For its part, the Geo Barents ship operated by the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders said that it had rescued 73 illegal migrants who were on rubber boats in the Mediterranean, of different nationalities.
