Twelve civilians, including two minors, have been released after being held for 78 days in Benghazi, according to the Libyan Crimes Watch Organization.

The individuals were reportedly arrested in September by the Internal Security Agency’s Hun branch after taking part in a pro-former regime demonstration in Zalla, southeast of Sirte.

The group were transferred by air from Al-Jufra Military Base to Benghazi on September 6. Their whereabouts had been unknown until their release on Monday, November 18.
