Libya has ranked last in the Arab world in terms of obtaining entry visas into the United States, according to 2021 annual report released by the US State Department.

Only 233 Libyan citizens obtained a visa from the US embassy during the past year, compared to nationals of other Arab countries experiencing political and security unrest, such as Yemen and Syria, taking into account the difference in population between the countries concerned, while the total number of migrant visas to the United States Worldwide totaled about 285, ooo.

According to the US official report, Yemen ranked first at the Arab level by obtaining the highest number of migrant visas to the USA, with about 4,770 visas, followed by Morocco with 3,585 visas, then Jordan with 2,785 visas, Egypt with 2,230 visas, then Algeria came fifth with 1,922 visas.
