The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has confirmed that citizens are continuing to register in the voters' records, after announcing the start of registration last Wednesday.

The HNEC revealed that the number of new registrants up until Monday morning was 2660 voters who submitted their statements and were confirmed within the registrars.

The head of the HNEC announced at a press conference in the presence of the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, the opening of the registration process for voters, which lasts two consecutive months, for new numbers of voters to be added to the pre-registered in the previous electoral records for the elections of the House of Representatives in 2014.
