‎The Director of the Inspection and Control Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Miftah Al-Tayeh, requested 3 employees at the Libyan consulate in Sfax to report to the office urgently.

This measure came after leaks covered by a Tunisian television program showing that Tunisian employees' salaries were paid in Tunisian dinars instead of dollars.

According to the media report, salaries came from the Libyan Foreign Ministry in dollars, while the local employees in Tunisia received them in the local currency. The report sparked a wave of controversy on social media and media outlets in Tunisia.
