Libya's Ayad Alkhayir Association, funded by the World Food Program (WFP) in Libya, sent humanitarian aid to displaced families from Tawergha and Sirte in the municipality of Tarhouna on Tuesday.

Sirte Municipal Council spokesman, Mohammed Al-Amil said in a press statement that Alyasser Association handed out the aid packages to the needy in Tarhouna.

Al-Amil added that the convoy arrived in Tarhouna, containing basic food and goods rations, indicating that the number of families who benefited from the aid reached 600, including 100 families from Sirte.
