Libyan authorities have detained 62 irregular migrants during security operations in the city of Mizda and surrounding areas, the Law Enforcement Administration under the General Directorate of Security Operations announced on Wednesday.
The Administration said in a statement posted on Facebook that joint security forces had intensified patrols to reinforce stability and tackle violations that could threaten regional security.
As part of the operation, desert patrol units from the Border Guard conducted extensive sweeps across valleys and desert areas near the city.
