Tunisian Tourism Minister, Mohamed El Moez Belhossein, has stressed the importance of the neighboring countries Libya and Algeria for improving tourism in his country, especially with the return of tourism activity, indicating that the number of Libyan tourists who entered Tunisia reached 800,000 until the end of last July.

The Tunisian minister's remarks came during his visit Monday to Djerba-Zarzis International Airport to examine the conditions for receiving tourists and citizens who chose to spend their vacation on the island of Djerba.

Belhossein also visited the Ras Al-Jdir border crossing, where he inspected the reception of Libyan tourists.
