Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Janah convened with Chinese Ambassador Liu Jian to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in the health sector.
The discussions, as reported on the Ministry of Health’s official platform, centred on enhancing Libya’s healthcare system through the exchange of expertise, training programs, and leveraging China’s advanced medical knowledge.
Abu Janah highlighted the strong ties between Libya and China, expressing his government’s readiness to collaborate with China in health-related fields under the framework of national regulations.
For his part, Ambassador Jian reiterated China’s commitment to deepening its cooperation with Libya, recognizing the historical and ongoing partnership between the two nations.
