The former Head of the National Congress and leader of the ‘Ya Baladi’ Party, Nuri Abu Sahmain, said that the details of the ceasefire between the Government of National Accord (GNA) forces and Haftar’s forces were still very vague, even days after its announcement, coupled with reactions from the international community supporting the move.

Abu Sahmain added in a tweet on his Twitter account on Sunday, “We support a move towards peace, however, we also fear that agreement based on obscurity and ‘the sharing of interests’ may be destined to fail and indeed give rise to new wars, it is the right of the Libyan people to know exactly what happened between both parties”.
