Abu Salim Municipality has started removing the iron bridge on Airport Road to replace it with a new structure. According to the municipality, the bridge will be partially closed, affecting traffic in both directions underneath as work progresses.
Motorists coming from Al-Falah Road are advised to turn right at the Airport Road roundabout to head south, while those from the north can turn west at the bridge.
The project is coordinated with Tripoli Security, Public Services, Roads and Bridges Authority, and secured by the Stability Support Apparatus.
