The African Development Bank (AFDB) has expected the recovery of the economy and the growth of internal product in Libya for 2023 after a sharp contraction during the last two years.
In its annual report, the AFDB indicated that political instability in Libya and climate shocks will negatively affect growth in North Africa in general in 2024.
The bank pointed out that these estimates indicate an expected decrease of 3.4% of the gross domestic product of the countries of the North African region.
