The Border Guard Service has announced the detention of a number of African immigrants in valleys, smuggling routes, and caves located in mountainous regions at the far south of the capital, Tripoli.
In a statement published on its official Facebook page, the Border Guard Service affiliated with the Ministry of Interior in the Government of National Unity, confirmed that the necessary legal procedures have been taken against the migrants.
According to the statement, the detentions took place during mobile desert patrols stationed at several strategic points, aimed at enforcing security and enhancing stability in the region.
