Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani will lead an African Union delegation to Libya on October 11-12 in an effort to facilitate dialogue among Libyan parties. 

Ghazouani, who chairs the African Union, will be accompanied by African Union Commission President Moussa Faki Mahamat and Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso, head of the AU's High-Level Committee on Libya.

The delegation is expected to visit Tripoli and Benghazi to engage with key stakeholders in the ongoing conflict.
