Tobruk Airport authorities have reported the emergency landing of an Afriqiyah Airways flight, originally en route from Mitiga International Airport to Cairo.
The aircraft made an unscheduled landing at 11:10 a.m. due to a technical malfunction, according to a statement by the airport’s media office.
All passengers and crew were confirmed safe; however, two passengers required medical assistance for breathing difficulties. The airport authority affirmed that emergency response teams were on high alert and followed standard procedures to ensure a swift and safe response to the incident.
