The second plane of the Libyan carrier "Afriqiyah Airways" arrived Friday, at Carthage International Airport in Tunisia coming from Lithuania, after being leased to the European "Small Planet Airlines".

Company officials explained that the recovery of the two planes will boost their fleet to fill the shortfall in flights, pointing to their efforts to expand their flight services to benefit the Libyan citizens.

The spokesman for Afriqiyah Airways Omran Zabadi confirmed Wednesday that the company has recovered one of its planes after negotiations with the company that leased two A320 aircraft last year.
