Spokesman for Afriqiyah Airways Omran Zabadi confirmed the resumption of the company's flights to Istanbul starting next Sunday.

Zabadi clarified in a press statement that the airline will conduct two flights a week to Istanbul from each of Maitega, Misurata, and Benghazi airports.

“The resumption of flights to Istanbul came after paying all the reimbursements owed to the handling companies and ground services in Turkey,” Zabadi explained, pointing out that the airline has adopted measures to prevent such recurrence in the future.
