The Afriqiyah Airways stressed the need to urgently address the issues of the airline's debts to be able to function normally from and to all operating destinations.

The director of the company's Information Office, Omran Zabadi, clarified that they have discussed enhancing the maintenance of the company's fleet by providing spare parts and restoring confidence with maintenance companies, international organizations, airports, and handling companies.

The debts to the Afriqiyah Airways amounted to 400 thousand euros for Ataturk Airport in Turkey and 160 thousand dollars for Alexandria Airport in Egypt.
