The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has announced the launch of a specialized training program in Turkey for the international aviation incident response license.

The initiative is organized under the supervision of the company’s Training and Development Department and in coordination with the National Oil Corporation, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance occupational safety standards and improve the skills of national personnel.

In a post on its official Facebook page, the company stated that the program targets members of the firefighting, rescue, and safety units at various company sites. The hands-on training is being conducted by MERICLER, a center specialized in air emergency operations.

The first group of 20 trainees has already arrived at the training site at an airport in Turkey. The full training plan includes 58 participants in total, divided into several batches.

The second group is scheduled to begin on April 19, 2025, while the third group will start on May 3, 2025, with additional groups to follow upon completion of the necessary organizational procedures and approvals.
