The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) is in discussions with oil services firm National Energy Services Reunited (NESR) to explore ways to increase production.
AGOCO Chairman Mohamed Ben Shatwan met with NESR's head in Libya Wissam Abuturkia and other officials to review financial matters, operations, and technical resources that could support expansion.
The talks also involved NESR’s Eastern Region Operations Manager Walid Al-Barghathi, who outlined how the company’s global expertise could contribute to boosting output.
Ben Shatwan stressed the importance of fair competition among companies to drive growth in the sector. NESR also presented an overview of its global activities and the latest oil technologies developed in its research centres, exploring how they could be applied in Libya.
