The Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) announced on Wednesday that an agreement had been reached to lift force majeure and resume production at Al-Feel oil field, which amounts to approximately 70 thousand barrels per day.

According to a press release by the Media Office of the PFG, the agreement was reached after several consultations between the Office of the Attorney General, the Libyan intelligence Agency and the General Investigations Department to tackle all the obstacles that prevent the PFG from doing its job perfectly.

Meanwhile, Security sources confirmed that the Special Deterrent Force in Tripoli had arrested the man responsible for the closure of Al-Feel oil field, who was identified as Abu Bakr Sooqi, the commander of the PFG in the region of Fezzan.
