The Ahmed Al-Ansari House for documents and historical information was reopened on Thursday in the presence of Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
The opening ceremony was also joined by the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, the head of the Old City Administration, the head of the Old City of Tripoli Organization, and the head of the Antiquities Authority.
The guests had the opportunity to get a close look at historical documents in political, religious, social, and economic areas, besides rare books in various fields of science.
In 2021, the Old City administration started a project to develop the Ahmed Al-Ansari House, established during the Italian occupation era, before announcing the completion of the maintenance work on May 28, 2023.
