Libya's Al-Akhdar football club lost 1-4 to Algeria's USM Alger on Sunday in Algeria as part of the sixth round of the Group A matches of the CAF Confederation Cup, thus leaving the tournament fourth with 5 points just like Congo's Lupopo but with a goal deference that made it third, while South Africa's Gallants made the cut by qualifying top of the group with 12 points with the second USM Alger with 11 points.

The first half ended 3-0 for the algerians who scored at the minutes 8, 20, and 35. The second half saw the Libyan team score at the minute 65 by Suhaib bin Salman, but the Algerian managed a fourth goal at the minute 74.
