The Al-Asabaa Crisis Committee has announced an increase in the number of fires in the municipality.
The committee confirmed that 27 homes were burned on Friday and Saturday, including 10 homes that had been previously damaged by fire.
The committee also noted that a National Security officer was transferred to Tripoli after suffering from suffocation during firefighting operations. It called on citizens to exercise caution and cooperate with the authorities to protect lives and property, make way for fire engines, and prevent anyone from entering burning homes except those authorized by the relevant authorities.
