The minister in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Al-Taher Al-Baour, discussed with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov the possibility of activating joint committees between Libya and Russia to serve the interests of both countries.
This came in a meeting on the sidelines of the ministerial session of the UN Security Council, devoted to the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue, according to the Foreign Ministry’s statement on its Facebook page.
The two parties discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in a way that serves common interests regarding issues and topics of common interest.
