The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has met with the Bulgarian Foreign Minister, Ivan Kondov, and the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Burhanuddin Duran, during the high-level week of the 79th United Nations General Assembly.

According to Hakomitna platform, during the meeting with the Bulgarian side, emphasis was placed on strengthening bilateral relations and working to restore the activity of the Bulgarian mission in Tripoli. 

The two sides also signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the Libyan and Bulgarian Foreign Ministries.

Al-Baour also discussed with the Turkish side the economic and political developments in Libya, and ways to unify efforts and coordinate on issues of common interest.
