Libya’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Al-Taher Al-Baour, delivered a statement on peace, security, and governance during a high-level meeting of African and European Union foreign ministers held in Brussels on Wednesday.
The meeting, hosted in the Belgian capital, brought together top diplomats from both unions to explore new avenues for strategic cooperation and to enhance joint coordination ahead of the upcoming seventh Africa–EU summit.
Participants engaged in comprehensive discussions focused on responding to the fast-evolving challenges facing both Africa and the broader international community.
Al-Baour represented the Government of National Unity in the discussions, reaffirming Libya’s commitment to advancing collaborative efforts on regional stability and governance.
