The Chief of the Libyan army, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Al-Haddad, held talks on Sunday with France's Special Presidential Envoy, Paul Soler, which focused on aspects of cooperation and ways to develop them.

The French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj, also joined the meeting held in Tripoli.

Soler affirmed his country's support for the army's command in its efforts to move forward and unify the military institution.

He said France is working to achieve stability in Libya through its presence in international meetings and conferences dedicated to solving the Libyan crisis.
