The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, discussed on Saturday, global challenges and reducing climate, food and security risks, during a meeting of central bank governors in Africa with the Director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva.

The meeting comes as part of a series of meetings held by the CBL Governor with a number of financial officials participating in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), which began last week in Washington, DC.

“The meeting dealt with enhancing the participation of the International Monetary Fund in policy development to help build resilience against challenges”, the CBL tweeted.
