The members of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni and Abdullah Al-Lafi, have discussed with the Minister of Justice, Halima Al-Bousaifi, a number of files related to human rights, reviewing the ministry’s role in supporting the national reconciliation project.
The two members affirmed the Presidential Council continued work to build the state of law and institutions, and its support for the Ministry of Justice so that it can perform the tasks assigned to it.
Al-Bousaifi indicated that the ministry is moving steadily towards achieving the values of justice and human rights principles in Libya, and that it places the human rights file among its priorities.
