The Deputy Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mossa Al-Koni, said the Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune hopes elections in Libya succeed to pave the way for stability and prosperity of the Libyan people.

Al-Koni added in a joint press conference with Tebboune that Algeria supports peace and security as well as unity in Libya, reiterating that Tebboune is keen to see Libyans boost national reconciliation just like Algerian people and use similar methods that led to Algerian leadership which helped prevail stability in the country.

Al-Koni arrived in Algeria on Monday along with Chief of Staff Mohammed Al-Haddad to meet Algerian officials and discuss their support for Libyan elections and go over issues of joint interests and latest developments in Libya and the region.
