The Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC) , Moussa Al-Koni, met with the Deputy Auditor General, Atiyah Allah Abdelkarim, on Monday to discuss financial oversight and government accountability. Several advisors from the Audit Bureau were also present.
According to a the PC's media office, the meeting focused on recent reports issued by the Audit Bureau as part of its efforts to monitor the performance of government institutions.
Al-Koni commended the Bureau’s role in reviewing public sector accounts and ensuring transparency in state-funded entities.
Discussions also covered Libya’s broader political and administrative landscape. Al-Koni outlined his vision for a governance model based on three executive regions, each with equal budgets, as a strategy to curb financial and administrative corruption.
