Member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, has discussed with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Acting Head of the UN Mission to Libya, Stephanie Koury, ways to address the current political stalemate.
Both sides reviewed the latest developments in the country, especially the political stalemate and ways to push the political process forward.
For her part, Koury affirmed the mission’s continued support for the efforts of the Presidential Council to achieve stability, and its communication with countries interested in the Libyan issue and active political parties in the political scene to bring viewpoints closer together with the aim of holding elections.
