Member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, discussed on Monday with the Ambassador of Spain to Libya, Javier Soria Quintana, the latest developments in the political situation in Libya and Spain’s support for international efforts aimed at stabilizing Libya, which is stability for the countries of the Mediterranean basin.
The Spanish ambassador conveyed to Al-Koni the greetings of his country’s government to the Presidential Council, reviewing ways to enhance Libyan-Spanish relations, especially in the fields of economy and energy, by increasing trade and cultural exchange.
Al-Koni assured the ambassador that Libyan-Spanish relations are historic and developing them serves the interests of both countries in many areas to ensure stability, praising Spain’s role in contributing to resolving the Libyan crisis through its communication with countries interested in Libyan affairs.
