The Deputy Head of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, has stressed that the position of UN Special Advisor on Libya, Stephanie Williams, is unbiased, saying she is keen on building bridges among all Libyan parties.

These remarks came in a phone call between Al-Lafi and Williams, who discussed the challenges facing the political process, as Williams voiced support for all efforts that lead Libya to elections, according to the Presidential Council.

The Government of National Unity, headed by Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, accused via its spokesman Mohammed Hammouda the UN advisor of being biased to one party over the other and of shelving the Geneva roadmap for holding elections.
