Presidential Council Deputy President Abdullah Al-Lafi, has discussed with the President of Niger, Mohamed Bazoum, the horizon of joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and the revival of the Community of the Sahel-Saharan states (Cen-Sad) in the interest of its member states.

During the discussions held Friday on the sidelines of the African Union Extraordinary Summit on Industrialization and Diversification in Niamey, Al-Lafi also reviewed the efforts of the Presidential Council to achieve stability in Libya, and the importance of strengthening consultation and coordination between the two countries. 

For his part, Bazoum stressed the need for the General Secretariat of the Cen-Sad- to return to the capital, Tripoli.
