The Deputy Head of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, on Monday, received the Bangladeshi ambassador to Libya, Shamim Al-Zaman, at the end of his tenure in Libya.

According to a statement released by the Media Office of the Presidential Council, the ambassador praised the fruitful cooperation he received from the Presidential Council throughout his tenure, which contributed to the development of relations between the two friendly countries in many fields.

On his part, Al-Lafi entrusted the ambassador with the greetings of the Presidential Council to the State of Bangladesh, both leadership and people, stressing that the Libyan-Bengali relations are characterized by friendship and respect, and work is ongoing to consolidate them, in a way that serves the interest of the two friendly countries.

Al-Lafi expressed his best wishes and success to the ambassador in the tasks that will be entrusted to him in the future.
