Presidential Council member Abdullah Al-Lafi has called for the need to enable the political process to achieve its desired goals, referring to the electoral process that the Libyans have been anticipating since 2021, which was disrupted as a result of the return of the government division resulting from disagreements between the political parties.
This came during his participation in the National Will for Change Forum, which was organized by the National Gathering of Libyan Political Parties in Tripoli on Monday morning, with wide participation from the heads of party groupings and political movements and blocs, a number of members of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, and a number of heads and members of diplomatic missions accredited to Libya.
Al-Lafi warned that the continued division in the country and the inability to build the foundations of national sovereignty will exacerbate the situation, deepen the division between the people of the country, and deplete its resources and capabilities.
