The Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Mangoush, has reiterated in her meeting with Japan's Chargé d'Affairs in Tripoli, the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and strategic partnership between Libya and Japan in the fields of economy and education, citing Japan's experience in those fields.

The Foreign Ministry said on Facebook that the meeting of saw discussions on the efforts of the Government of National Unity to contain political and security problems with the aim of improving stability and imposing security in Libya, leading to national elections as soon as possible.

The Foreign Ministry added on Wednesday that the Japanese Chargé d'Affairs reaffirmed his country's efforts to improve the African-Japanese partnership and achieve the aspirations of African peoples for stability and prosperity.
