The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Manqoush, participated on Tuesday, in the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Algeria's independence from France.

“At the invitation of the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, I was pleased to attend the 60th anniversary of the celebration of the Algerian Independence Day, a day when Algeria regained its sovereignty, independence and freedom”, Al-Manqoush tweeted.

Algeria celebrates the 60th anniversary of its independence from France, amid continuing demands for the need to open the files of the past, and to present an official apology by France for the crimes committed against the people, throughout 130 years of colonialism.
