The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Manqoush, described the results of the Paris International Conference on Libya as “a success,” adding that the Government of National Unity (GNU) seeks to expedite the electoral process, hoped to be achieved by December 24.

Al-Manqoush added, in a statement to a Tunisian News Agency, that the conference witnessed an approach of solidarity from neighbourly countries of Libya, noting Tunisia’s role in resolving the Libyan crisis, as she put it.

She pointed out that Tunisia has confidence that the Libyan issue must be managed by a national internal process, which was concurred by yet a further neighbouring country, Algeria.
