The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, met with the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Friday in Ankara to discuss the latest developments in the Libyan situation.

According to a statement by the HCS, Al-Mishri also met with Hulusi Akar, the Turkish Defense Minister to discuss the recent proposed ceasefire initiatives, along with methods of resumption of the political process and bilateral relations between both countries.

The Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashaga, also arrived in Ankara on Friday and held held further discussions with Akar on the latest developments on the ground in Libya.
