The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mishri, reiterated in a meeting Sunday with the special envoy of the French President to Libya, Paul Soler, his reaffirmation of the commitment of the High Council of State to hold elections on a sound constitutional and legal basis as soon as possible.
The HCS media office said the two sides discussed the latest political developments in Libya and the international efforts to resolve the impasse, in addition to completing the constitutional track for holding elections.
The new French ambassador to Libya Mostafa Mihraje and second HCS deputy head, Omar Bushah attended the meeting in Tripoli.
