The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri announced his readiness to meet with the Speaker of Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR), Aguila Salah in Morocco, as part of the ongoing efforts made by Rabat to resolve the present Libyan crisis.

Al-Mishri said in a statement to a Moroccan channel that there are efforts being made by Morocco, sponsored by King Mohamed VI, to advance the efforts of diplomacy in order to assist in solving the Libyan crisis.

He added that he previously visited Morocco last July, in conjunction with Aguila Saleh’s presence, expressing at that time his eagerness to meet with him; however, he stated that it would be under the conditions that the meeting would be announced publicly and held in the presence of Moroccan delegates, along with international guarantees.
