The President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raed, held discussions with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, on the outcomes of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), regarding the economic features between both countries.

The meeting also covered the possibility of implementing various projects in the oil and gas sector, along with reactivating many suspended contracts with joint companies, including the haulage industry, in addition to implementing the contract to rebuild the Tripoli International Airport terminal.

This has been confirmed to reach completion within the next ten months, along with the implementation of completing sections of the highway, with bidding to take place for the most competent companies to complete the task.
