Al-Sarir Oil Company succeeded in maintaining four oil wells, and restored production in the two wells “B22” and “B15” at a rate exceeding 1,000 barrels per day (bpd) for each.
According to the National Oil Corporation, the “B22” well had been out of service for technical reasons since the company took over operating duties from the previous operator (foreign partner) in late 2020.
Al-Sarir Company also completed the maintenance of three other wells without the need to use rigs, with the aim of reducing the associated water production, which resulted in an increase in oil production by 2,000 bpd from the “B14”, “B24” and “B46” wells.
