The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has discussed with National Security Adviser, Ibrahim Bushnaf, the repercussions of postponing the presidential and parliamentary elections that were scheduled to take place last December.

Both sides reviewed the developments of the electoral process, confirming that a set of legal and objective challenges prevented the completion of the elections on time, calling on everyone to bear responsibility to achieve stability through these elections.

For his part, Bushnaf reiterated his support for the HNEC to ensure holding the presidential and parliamentary elections.
