The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, "Imad Al-Sayeh", discussed with the Canadian Ambassador to Libya, Isabelle Savard, the latest developments of the electoral process in general and the municipal council elections in particular.
During their meeting on Tuesday at HNEC's headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides reviewed HNEC's level of readiness to fulfill its responsibilities to complete the upcoming entitlements.
The Canadian Ambassador praised HNEC's efforts to implement the electoral process for the municipal councils that are currently being worked on during this period, stressing the renewal of her country's government's support for the efforts to complete the upcoming electoral entitlements in Libya.
